Update and VEEG

I know I haven't been on in a while, what little amount of viewers I have... I am in middle school and am very busy. Now, some news. Casual Fridays will be discontinued and the Casual Friday post will be deleted. I am going to tell you some things about a Video EEG, or VEEG.

I will first tell you what a VEEG is. A VEEG is an EEG that is done in the hospital overnight. Sometimes it can last as long as a week. Some tips for first timers or anybody:
-Ask your nurse that is applying the electrodes when the glue will open.
-EEG glue stinks.
-Pack snacks because most hospitals do not give you snacks for free.
-Pack lots of fun stuff. You may think you will not get bored with your laptop and kindle, but what happens when the battery runs out?
-Bring at least two pairs of pajama pants and two pairs of button up and/or zip up pajama shirts. Bring three or more pairs of underwear, three or more pairs of socks, and a pair of slippers or shoes.
-When you are not watching TV, it is VERY quiet.
-Don't be afraid to press the nurse button if you need anything.
-Move when you need to. Trust me, it hurts when you are in the same position on a hospital bed the entire visit.
-Remember that different hospitals and even different units/wards will have different rules about moving around your room. For example, at mine, the children's unit lets you move about the room freely, whereas on 7 west, the adults unit, you had to call a nurse to help you move around.

Thank you for reading. Potato.
